Peachtree Immediate Care - Acworth is proud to provide care to veterans at all 29 of its locations. The recent implementation of the VA Mission Act has allowed Peachtree Immediate Care - Acworth to become one of the few urgent care clinics allowed by the VA to treat veterans. Based on provisions of the law, most veterans are now eligible to seek treatment at Peachtree Immediate Care’s urgent care facilities for injuries and illnesses that require immediate attention but are not life-threatening. Examples include flu-like symptoms, strep throat, minor burns, pink eye, ear/skin infections, diagnostic X-rays, diagnostic lab testing, urgent medications, and more.
Peachtree Immediate Care - Acworth’s locations are open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Their centers are staffed by licensed physicians and nurse practitioners, offer online-check-in, an on-site lab, and digital X-ray capabilities, allowing patients to be seen without the long wait or high costs of an emergency room.
